WHO IS MORPHÉ

Morphé is the brainchild of South African designer, Marize Malan. This unique women's clothing label focusses on ready-to-wear items for all ages. Marize is a passionate supporter of proudly South African movements like WOZA (wear only South African), Buy ZA and Shop ZA. Morphe (ad accent) means "to transform outwardly".
Marize completed her studies in 2005 at the Design School of Southern Africa in Johannesburg. She started working on her own label in 2006, and gained valuable experience while working with brands like Woolworths, Joe Soap, YDE brand Didi, Sway textiles and collab store in Maboneng Precinct with Anisa from Loin Cloth and Ashes and flagship store in Work Shop New Town in the Newtown Junction Mall. Marize also won the ELLE New Talent Competition in 2009 after being a finalist in 2008.

VISION
To produce quality, proudly South African fashion. Morphé is mindful of waste and utilises leftover fabrics by transforming them into smaller garments. The leftover fabrics also gets donated to small businesses that use it for job creation. Morphé produces items that are often OSFA (one size fits most), and that can be worn in more than one way, thus Morphing into something new. The label creates easy-to-wear garments that offer a style suitable for every body type. Morphé allows its wearer to become part of the design process or the look, by applying her own style through playing and experimenting with layering.
MISSION

To offer value for money and professional service. Morphé empowers its clients with the knowledge of how to wear clothing in different ways, and putting together an outfit for every occasion. The ultimate goal is to create someone's favourite item of clothing. Their 'go to' item.
